Vivo Nex could cost 849 euros, much more expensive than in China and India

Image
A new pricing leak suggests the Vivo Nex will cost 849 euros (~$967) when it eventually launches in Europe. That price is significantly more than what the device currently costs in India and China. There is still no launch date for the Vivo Nex in Europe (or the U.S.), but this pricing leak suggests a launch could come soon. The Vivo Nex wowed us all at Mobile World Congress 2018 . Then known as the Vivo Apex , the smartphone featured a notch-less display with extremely small bezels, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a unique pop-up selfie cam. Vivo announced shortly thereafter that it would commercially release the Nex in select countries, which ended up being mostly focused on China and India with a few other countries thrown in the mix. However, the company promised the Nex would eventually launch in Europe, but we haven't seen it there yet. Google Weather is currently down on Google Home, Assistant, Android, and more

Image
The weather is a very popular question that people search for and frequently ask Google Assistant on Home, Smart Displays, Android, and other devices. However, this particular search is currently experiencing some issues this morning and not providing back any results. Asking Assistant, "What's the weather?" on phones this morning will not yield an answer, just a reply that it's "0 degrees Fahrenheit." Meanwhile, the query on both Android and the web will not yield the usual card that notes the temperature, an hourly forecasts, and other conditions. Meanwhile, on Android, the Google Weather app built into Search notes how it's "Unable to show weather info." All cities around the world are affected so it is not a geographic problem. Google gets weather results from weather.com, but The Weather Channel is currently operational with results loading regularly. Updating… #Google #Android #Smartphones #OS #News @ndrdnws #ndrdn

Red Dead Online beta is now available to all players

The wild west has never looked this good. Yes, it's finally happening my fellow outlaws. Red Dead Redemption II is real and it's coming to PlayStation 4 this year. After Rockstar Games' massively successful open-world cowboy game set during the death of the Wild West, fans began clamoring for a follow-up that continued the story of the Marston family or embraced a new gunslinger. After years of rumors and silence on Rockstar's end, they finally surprised the world on one random morning in 2016 by announcing a sequel to their critically acclaimed western. It took over a year to get any actual concrete details regarding the game and frankly, it's still a bit of a mystery but it sounds like it could be a mix of a story of a new outlaw and also fill in a massive gap in John Marston's story. See at Amazon What's new with Red Dead Redemption 2? Rockstar Games has been quiet lately regarding the highly anticipated sequel, but with Red Dead Redemp

State surveillance: why AI needs boundaries
