Deal: Amazon offering 20% off tons of used phones, computers, and more

amazon earth week Amazon

To help celebrate Earth Week (which we're guessing is an extension of Earth Day which happens on April 22, 2018), Amazon is offering 20 percent off a whole slew of used tech products, including phones, tablets, computers, smart home devices, and more.

Before you go crazy throwing stuff into your cart, take a minute to read the fine print here. First off, only items in the Amazon Warehouse (read: used, not new products) are eligible for the 20 percent off discount. Click here (or the big orange button at the bottom of this article) to be whisked away to the Warehouse page.

Buying a used phone: do's and dont's

If you're the geek type, like me, you like the idea of owning the latest and greatest Android smartphone. Unfortunately, sometimes our budgets can get in the way of our goals, and flagship devices can …

Second, you must buy everything in one transaction. Think of it like this: you have one, magic 20-percent off coupon and you can only use it once. So you won't be able to buy a new phone now and then buy a new computer sometime later. It's all gotta happen at once.

Third, these deals are only good while supplies last and up to the end of Earth Day (11:59 P.M. PST on April 22). Our advice would be not to delay, as there are some great products in this Warehouse sale, so they're likely not to last.

Finally, you won't see the 20 percent discount until you add everything to your cart. In other words, the prices you see when you scroll through the listings are not the final price you will pay; you will pay 20 percent less.

With that all out of the way, what kinds of things can you get? How about this used Asus Chromebook Flip for only $338 after the discount? Or maybe this unlocked used Samsung Galaxy S8 for $399? Or check out this used Essential Phone for only $299! That's just crazy.
