YouTube TV Subscribers Can Now Add STARZ For $9 Per Month

YouTube TV has now added STARZ to its network lineup. As a result, customers of Google's paid-for, live TV streaming service will now be able to tune in to a variety of STARZ-related shows, including Power, American Gods, Outlander, Vida, and Sweetbitter. As the announcement from the entertainment company confirms, the deal with YouTube TV includes access to fourteen STARZ and STARZ Encore channels, as well as access to the full VOD catalogs. Unlike some of the other recent additions to YouTube TV, STARZ is not included in the baseline price, and instead can be purchased as an add-on for an additional $9 per month.

While those who have managed to keep their YouTube TV account priced at the initial $35 per month will be looking at $44 per month when STARZ is included, customers who sign up for the service now (as well as those who signed up after the recent YouTube TV price increase) will be looking at a total of $49 per month for both the baseline package and STARZ. Of course, this is without the addition of any other add-on network channels, as STARZ is not the first one to become available through YouTube TV. Showtime for example, is already available at a cost of $11 per month, as is Fox Soccer Plus for $9 per month, Sundance Now for $7 per month, and Shudder for $5 per month. Like those other add-on options, STARZ does come with a seven-day free trial for YouTube TV customers to test out the service and see whether it is right for them.

To add STARZ (or any of the paid-for options) to an existing YouTube TV subscription, simply go to the YouTube TV website and once signed in click on the user icon in the top-right corner. From the menu that appears, click on "Settings" and the available add-ons will be listed under "Membership." Then it is just a matter of checking which ones you want to add and and agreeing to the new monthly total. Alternatively, STARZ can also be manually added through the YouTube TV Android app in the same way – heading to Settings and then Membership.
