Amazon has discounted the SanDisk 128GB Micro SD Card today, which goes great with any of the Fire Tablets or TV's that are on sale today as well. This micro SD card is a great addition to those devices as well as anything else that uses a micro SD card slot, and at $23.88, it's an absolute steal.

This micro SD card from SanDisk was actually made specifically for the Fire Tablets and Fire TVs that Amazon sells, so that these are going to work perfectly together. However, there's nothing stopping you from using this in a smartphone like the Galaxy S9 or LG G7 ThinQ, both of which have micro SD card slots as well. This is a Class 10 micro SD card, so you'll be able to record full HD video on this micro SD card without having to wait for it to write to the card. It should be fast enough for 4K, but that is also going to depend on the smartphone or camera you are using, as some formats use less data then others, and therefore can write faster to them. This one is also x-ray proof, so you won't need to worry about it going through the x-ray machine at the airport which is also nice to see here.

This is part of Amazon's Prime Day, which is ongoing now through midnight PST on July 17. However, you can only take advantage of this deal if you are a Prime member, so if you are not a member of Amazon Prime, you're going to want to sign up for Amazon Prime. Luckily, Amazon does offer up a free 30-day trial, which you can use for Prime Day and then cancel within a month and not pay a thing but take advantage of all of the deals on Amazon Prime Day, which is pretty neat.

Apple is postponing new iOS features in favor of reliability and performance

Apple has decided to postpone new features in iOS in favor of improving the reliability and performance of the operating system, as according to a report by Axios. According to the report, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering, announced the revised plan to employees at a meeting earlier this month. This pushes features like refresh of the homescreen and in-car user interface, improvements to core apps like Mail and camera experience to 2019.
