Amazon kicks off Sony Xperia XZ3 pre-orders in the US, throwing in free Xperia Ear Duo headset

Sony's latest flagship smartphone may not be 5G-ready (duh), also capping off at a modest (by ultra-high-end standards) 4GB RAM in the US and Europe, with its battery life proving a bitter disappointment in our in-depth testing.

But even though we expected the Xperia XZ3 to only kick off pre-orders stateside on September 24 ahead of an actual October 17 commercial rollout, you can already reserve an early copy of the 6-inch OLED powerhouse over on Amazon, which is pretty nice.

Better yet, the e-commerce giant lists September 24 as the handset's release date now. And best of ...

Apple has decided to postpone new features in iOS in favor of improving the reliability and performance of the operating system, as according to a report by Axios. According to the report, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering, announced the revised plan to employees at a meeting earlier this month.
