We may be waiting for some good Black Friday 2018 deals from Google and Samsung, but here's one today through Amazon that you might want to look at right away. Today only, Amazon has the unlocked  LG V30+ dropped to $399.99 – that's a $260 discount.

What's different about the V30+ over the V30? Umm, it has 128GB storage and comes with LG Quadplay Earbuds. That's it.

We really liked the V30 when we reviewed it last year. At the time, it was easily the best LG device to date, had a solid camera setup, great overall size, and looked pretty with all of its glass.

As a reminder, the V30+ has a 6+ QHD OLED display with Snapdragon 835, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage (with SD slot), dual rear camera (16MP + 13MP), Quad DAC, fingerprint reader, IP68 water and dust resistance, and 3300mAh battery.

This is the US unlocked model and works on all major US carriers, including Verizon.

Apple is postponing new iOS features in favor of reliability and performance

Apple has decided to postpone new features in iOS in favor of improving the reliability and performance of the operating system, as according to a report by Axios. According to the report, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering, announced the revised plan to employees at a meeting earlier this month. This pushes features like refresh of the homescreen and in-car user interface, improvements to core apps like Mail and camera experience to 2019. What we will get this year is improvements to AR, digital health and parental controls. Apart from that, the OS will largely feature improvements to performance and user experience. We have seen Apple do this with macOS in the past, where they dedicate one entire update cycle to just refining the OS and make existing features work better.
