Deal on the Moto X4 Prime Exclusive version.

With Black Friday only a few days away, Amazon slashed the price of the Moto X4 Prime Exclusive version in Sterling Blue and Super Black from $250 to $180 for a limited time.

It might be over a year old, but the Moto X4 still offers plenty for those who do not want to make their wallets cry. As a refresher, the Moto X4 features a 5.2-inch IPS display with 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, dual rear 12- and 8-megapixel cameras, 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 3,000mAh battery.

The Moto X4 received its Android 8.1 Oreo update back in May and is in line to eventually receive Android 9 Pie.

Keep in mind that this is the Prime Exclusive version, which is separate from the normal unlocked and Android One versions. As the name suggests, the Prime Exclusive version is only available to Amazon Prime members and features several pre-installed Amazon apps.

Also, the Prime Exclusive version works on GSM and CDMA networks like AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Finally, the Prime Exclusive version is slower to receive updates relative to the Android One version.

That said, the Moto X4 is still a good choice as far as affordable smartphones are concerned.

Apple has decided to postpone new features in iOS in favor of improving the reliability and performance of the operating system, as according to a report by Axios. According to the report, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering, announced the revised plan to employees at a meeting earlier this month. This pushes features like refresh of the homescreen and in-car user interface, improvements to core apps like Mail and camera experience to 2019. What we will get this year is improvements to AR, digital health and parental controls. Apart from that, the OS will largely feature improvements to performance and user experience.
