OnePlus 6 gets $100 discount with early Black Friday deal

Black Friday doesn't start until November 23, but that doesn't stop retailers from offering up discounts and promos well in advance of the big day.

OnePlus is no different, as it has just announced its own early Black Friday deal that actually starts very, very early in the morning on Tuesday, November 20. Once the deal goes live, you can save $100 off a new OnePlus 6. Unfortunately, to start, this is not $100 off the brand new OnePlus 6T. In addition to that, OnePlus isn't saying if it's a specific variant of the OnePlus 6 that's getting this discount.

It seems like a safe bet that it's just $100 off the OnePlus 6, and which means you can get the standard option (6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage) for $429.00, or go up to the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for $479.00 after the discount. At the time of publication, both the 128GB and 256GB models with 8GB of RAM are out of stock. That may change by tomorrow, though.

The promotion starts at 3:00 AM Eastern Time/12:00 AM Pacific Time on Tuesday. Who's jumping on this promo?

Apple is postponing new iOS features in favor of reliability and performance

Apple has decided to postpone new features in iOS in favor of improving the reliability and performance of the operating system, as according to a report by Axios. According to the report, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering, announced the revised plan to employees at a meeting earlier this month. This pushes features like refresh of the homescreen and in-car user interface, improvements to core apps like Mail and camera experience to 2019. What we will get this year is improvements to AR, digital health and parental controls. Apart from that, the OS will largely feature improvements to performance and user experience.
