Candy Crush Friends Saga gains Santa Yeti, Christmas Maps, and other festive-themed content

If Candy Crush Friends Saga is the game you love to play, you'll be happy to find out that there is a ton of festive-themed content dropping in the run-up to Christmas Day. The additional content includes customizable outfits for your favorite characters such as Yeti Santa or Misty Reindeer, Christmas maps, and the "Santa Yeti Star Chaser" live op that runs until December 28th. 

The Christmas-themed content began to appear a couple of days ago, but there is more to come in the days before Christmas.

Holiday Live Op Important Dates

December 10th

  • Christmas Maps available
  • Yeti Santa becomes available in the Candy Surprise boxes for players from level 9 and up
  • Dachs enters Candy Surprises for all players over level 501

December 12th

  • Dachs Elf and Misty Reindeer start dropping in all Candy Surprises above specified levels. 
  • Misty Reindeer is available for players above level 441
  • Dachs Elf is available for players above level 621

December 14th

  • Begin a normal "Star Chaser" live op until the 16th of December with a large candy surprise as the reward

December 21st

  • Begin the "Santa Yeti Star Chaser" live op which runs until December 28th.
  • The Star Chaser is when players go back through levels to collect as many stars as they can. Once collecting a certain amount of stars, they will be rewarded with a prize. In this case, it is the Santa Yeti costume.

December 31st

  • End of Holiday special live ops 
  • Maps revert back to non-holiday versions with non-holiday music
  • Santa Yeti is removed from Candy Surprises
