Motorola's Moto G7 can now be pre-ordered in the US at a starting price of $299.99. Orders will arrive/ship by March 1.

What should you expect from the Moto G7? Motorola's G line has been a good one for a long time. You typically get a decent set of specs, clean Android experience, and good design at an affordable price. That's the case again with the G7.

The Moto G7 sports a 6.2″ FHD display with notch, Snapdragon 632 processor, 64GB storage, 4GB RAM, 3000mAh battery, dual rear camera (12MP + 5MP), headphone jack, fingerprint reader, and network support on all the major carriers in the US. The only thing notable that's missing is an NFC chip, which has become a pain point for the G line in the US in recent years.

Apple is postponing new iOS features in favor of reliability and performance

Apple has decided to postpone new features in iOS in favor of improving the reliability and performance of the operating system, as according to a report by Axios. According to the report, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering, announced the revised plan to employees at a meeting earlier this month. This pushes features like refresh of the homescreen and in-car user interface, improvements to core apps like Mail and camera experience to 2019. What we will get this year is improvements to AR, digital health and parental controls. Apart from that, the OS will largely feature improvements to performance and user experience. We have seen Apple do this with macOS in the past, where they dedicate one entire update cycle to just refining the OS and make existing features work better.
