Xiaomi Pre-Loaded Quite A Few Wallpapers On the Mi 9: Download

The Xiaomi Mi 9 was announced a couple of days ago, and if you're interested in checking out its official wallpapers, well, they're not ready to download. XDA Developers managed to get their hands on the Mi 9's wallpapers, and a download link is included below the article.

There are 18 wallpapers available, in total, and they're all in 2340 x 1080 resolution, which is the resolution of Mi 9's display. This essentially means that all wallpapers are available in a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, though you can cut them to fit your phone's display, of course, as with any other wallpapers.

We have included all 18 wallpapers in the gallery down below, though do keep in mind that those wallpapers are not in full resolution, they have been cropped. The gallery is here just so that you can see what is on offer, and in order to get all of these wallpapers in their full size, hit the aforementioned download link.

All sorts of wallpapers are available on the Mi 9, it seems, ranging from abstract and landscape ones, to wallpapers which focus on specific photo subjects, like a cup of coffee, leaves, and a diamond. All of those wallpapers look quite nice, and chances are that most of you will find something of interest in this batch.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 Is A Powerhouse

The Xiaomi Mi 9 was introduced the same day as the Galaxy S10 series, on February 20. The phone was announced in China, but it will make an appearance at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona as well. The Xiaomi Mi 9 is made out of metal and glass, and it sports three cameras on the back. The device includes a teardrop notch, and extremely thin bezels.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 is fueled by the Snapdragon 855 64-bit octa-core processor, the most powerful chip Qualcomm has to offer at the moment. The device features a 6.39-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) Super AMOLED display, while it includes 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of non-expandable storage.

48, 16, and 2-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the device, while a single 20-megapixel unit can be found on the phone's front side. A 3,300mAh non-removable battery is also a part of this package, and the device supports extremely fast wired charging, while fast wireless charging is also available.

Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on the phone, along with Xiaomi's MIUI 10 Android overlay. The Mi 9 also comes with two SIM card slots (2x nano SIM), and it is only 7.6mm thick, so it's amongst the thinnest flagship smartphones out there.

The Xiaomi Mi 9's global availability will almost certainly be announced at this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC), while the device is priced at the equivalent of $446 in China, for the 6GB RAM model, while the 8GB RAM variants cost a $490 in Xiaomi's homeland. You can expect its global pricing to be a little bit higher, but not by much. In any case, everything will be revealed in the next couple of days, Xiaomi will hopefully reveal where the Mi 9 will ship first, as far as global markets are concerned.
