Samsung Health gets Dark Mode and minor UI improvements via update

Samsung Health has received a new update that introduces Dark Mode to the app, among other minor UI changes. With Samsung Health version 6.9.0.051, some of the sections located inside the settings menu have been rearranged under different categories, therefore 'Account and syncing' has its own category now instead of residing under 'General.' Leaderboards and Challenges have also been added under a unified 'Together' tab.

All in all, the most notable change introduced by the latest Samsung Health update is the added support for Dark Mode. Both Samsung and Google have made a bigger push to enable Dark Mode for more applications with the launch of One UI 2.0 and Android 10, and Samsung Health now joins an expansive list of apps that support the mode.

As usual, updates to Samsung's apps are being distributed gradually, meaning that version 6.9.0.051 might not yet be available for your Galaxy device. You can check your app's version by launching Samsung Health, tapping the hamburger menu in the upper-left corner, then tapping the cogwheel icon to access the Settings screen. Your app's version is shown under 'About Samsung Health.'

If the latest version is not yet available in your region or if you don't want to wait for the OTA release, you can choose to circumvent the usual procedure and, instead, download the latest Samsung Health APK from our archive to install it manually on your phone.
