This simple Chrome extension makes new tabs gorgeous

Google's backdrops are great, but Apple's Aerials are awesome.

We've talked about how easy it is to bring Apple TV's excellent Aerial screensavers to Android TV. It's also possible to use them as your Mac background. And for everyone else — especially those of the chromeOS variety — it's also possible to use them as what you see when you fire up a new tab in the world's best browser.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Install this Chrome extension.
  2. Open a new tab. (I'm a fan of the Ctrl-T method, you might be a mouse clicker. To each his own.)

And that's in. Inside that new tab you'll see the gorgeous aerial screensavers Apple's left open for folks to do with as they please.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A20 smartphone last week, and the company is expected to launch its slightly toned down version dubbed Galaxy A20e soon. The A20e was listed on Samsung UK's website earlier this month, and now, its alleged case renders have surfaced revealing its design. These case renders show us that the A20e will look similar to the A20. It has a waterdrop notch display on the front with a dual camera setup located on the back in the left corner. The cameras are accompanied by an LED flash and an oval-shaped fingerprint scanner. Once again, the year is drawing to a close. Of course, we also looking back over a year of reporting right here in the office, but what has inspired us the most in the past twelve months? At that time, we announced a job search experience that uses military occupational specialty codes to connect service members and veterans with open jobs that call for skills developed during their time in service. If you are in the US, and are looking to purchase a dual SIM variant of Samsung's Galaxy S9 smartphone, here's a deal for you: a Top Rated Plus eBay seller is offering the device for $660. Keep in mind the variant on offer is global one, meaning it comes with the Exynos chipset (US models, in case you aren't aware, are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC).
