DEAL: Save $40 on a 3-Pack of Google WiFi at Amazon

I've been using Google WiFi in my home since launch and I love it. If you've been in the market for a mesh system for your own home, Google's is a solid choice, and Amazon is currently selling a 3-pack for $258 ($40 off usual $299 price).

With it, you have your first point connected to your modem, then can wirelessly connect up to two additional WiFi points throughout your home for better signal. Since my office is upstairs, I have two points up there, plus one in the living room to hardwire a SHIELD TV and provide better WiFi signal for guests. It's very clutch and I recommend it for everyone.

If you don't already own Google WiFi, it's likely you haven't kept up to date on the new features it has received since launch. Thanks to a recent update, users can check the speeds of individual devices on their network and another update provided site blocking settings.

DJI showcased its new Mavic Air drone in New York. The third quadcopter in this series is of similar quality to its predecessors and can also fold its arms for better portability. For its size, no competitor offers so much in terms of photo quality. It goes without saying that Samsung is going to spend a lot of money on marketing to get the word out that its new flagship smartphone is the one you should be buying this year. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ at an event in New York City today. Since it was an invite-only event, although it was streamed live online, Samsung decided to spend a lot of money to tell New Yorkers that the Galaxy S8 has arrived. Samsung illuminated the iconic Times Square in New York City with immersive displays reflective of the visual experience that the Galaxy S8′s Infinity Display promises. It basically bought out almost every available signage to announce the arrival of its newest flagship smartphone. As if that wasn’t enough, it even brought in a troupe of performers who danced “in celebration of the debut of the Galaxy S8.” Good stuff.
