Exclusive: Galaxy M30s specs reveal triple camera and 6000mAh battery

It was first reported not too long ago that there's a new variant of the Galaxy M30 in development. We actually confirmed this exclusively three months back. It later came to be known as the Galaxy M30s bearing model number SM-M307F. We can exclusively reveal the Galaxy M30s specs now.

Samsung hasn't said anything about launching the Galaxy M30s at this point in time. However, reports suggest that it may come out sooner rather than later. Possibly at some point in the coming month.

Galaxy M30s specs revealed

The Galaxy M30s will feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ 2400×1080 pixel resolution display. It will most likely feature an Exynos 9610 processor, a considerable upgrade compared to the Exynos 7904 in the Galaxy M30. It will be offered in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB + 128GB variants. While much doesn't change in the display department, the additional RAM and storage option will appeal to customers who want a bit more out of their device.

The standout feature of the Galaxy M30s will undoubtedly be its triple rear camera system. Sources tell us that there's going to be a 48-megapixel f/2.0 primary sensor with a 5-megapixel f/2.2 depth and 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor. There's also going to be a 16-megapixel f/2.0 camera on the front.

If that wasn't enough to sell you on this budget device, we can also confirm that it's going to feature a massive 6,000mAh battery. Samsung itself hinted at an upcoming device with such a big battery without specifically naming the Galaxy M30s. While it won't be backed up by 25W fast charging, which is still too premium a feature for the Galaxy M series, the sheer capacity should be able to keep the lights on this device for a respectable period of time.

The Galaxy M30s will come with Android 9 Pie out of the box when it does arrive. Samsung hasn't said at this point in time when it's going to launch the device. It may not be long now, though, before the Galaxy M30s is made official.

Apple is postponing new iOS features in favor of reliability and performance

Apple has decided to postpone new features in iOS in favor of improving the reliability and performance of the operating system, as according to a report by Axios. According to the report, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering, announced the revised plan to employees at a meeting earlier this month.
