Google Announces Nexus Protect, a 2-Year Protection Plan for Your Phone

Along with its announcement of the new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, Google unveiled a new protection plan for each called Nexus Protect.

The plan runs $69 for the Nexus 5X and $89 for the Nexus 6P. With Nexus Protect, you get 2 years of coverage for mechanical breakdown on your phone, 2 years of protection from accidental damage, and you get replacements as early as the next business day.

Google sells its mesh Wi-Fi system in one and three packs by default, though you can customize the systems to meet the needs of your home pretty easily. The single router normally sells for $129, and the 3-pack has settled down at around $280 recently. We tend to see various discounts on the 3-pack that bring it down to around the $260 mark, but the single unit tends to just sit around full retail price, or just drop by a few bucks. DJI showcased its new Mavic Air drone in New York. The third quadcopter in this series is of similar quality to its predecessors and can also fold its arms for better portability. For its size, no competitor offers so much in terms of photo quality. Release date and price The DJI Mavic Air can be ordered through the official DJI website  and is also available from other retailers. The drone is available in three colors: marengo grey, white and red.
