Google Announces Nexus Protect, a 2-Year Protection Plan for Your Phone

Along with its announcement of the new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, Google unveiled a new protection plan for each called Nexus Protect.

The plan runs $69 for the Nexus 5X and $89 for the Nexus 6P. With Nexus Protect, you get 2 years of coverage for mechanical breakdown on your phone, 2 years of protection from accidental damage, and you get replacements as early as the next business day.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A20 smartphone last week, and the company is expected to launch its slightly toned down version dubbed Galaxy A20e soon. The A20e was listed on Samsung UK's website earlier this month, and now, its alleged case renders have surfaced revealing its design. These case renders show us that the A20e will look similar to the A20. It has a waterdrop notch display on the front with a dual camera setup located on the back in the left corner. The cameras are accompanied by an LED flash and an oval-shaped fingerprint scanner. DJI showcased its new Mavic Air drone in New York. The third quadcopter in this series is of similar quality to its predecessors and can also fold its arms for better portability. Once again, the year is drawing to a close. Of course, we also looking back over a year of reporting right here in the office, but what has inspired us the most in the past twelve months? At that time, we announced a job search experience that uses military occupational specialty codes to connect service members and veterans with open jobs that call for skills developed during their time in service. In the months since, we've continued our work to make it even more useful for those who are searching for civilian jobs and the amazing people who support and guide them. People like Kristen Rheinlander, who works as the Transition Site Manager of the USO Pathfinder Program at Fort Hood, Texas.
