Moto 360 (2nd Gen.) shows its face in leaked press renders

There’s been a flurry of Moto 360 (2nd Gen.) leaks lately, including several photos that show the device out and about. Now another leaked image has surfaced that shows the new Moto 360 in official-looking press images.

The two devices show look similar the Moto 360 (2nd Gen.) models that we’ve leak lately, complete with exposed watch band lugs and a button that’s slid up a bit to the two o’clock position. We’re also seeing two different case colors and two different band materials.

That’s about all of the information that can be gleaned from this leak. However, past reports have suggested that the new Moto 360 will be sold in two sizes — a small and a large — which could make the new 360 attractive to folks who found the original model too large.

Spec details for the Moto 360 (2nd Gen.) are still up in the air, but a recent report suggested that Motorola will unveil a new Android Wear device at IFA this week, so it may not be long before all is revealed. Until then, what do you think of the Moto 360 (2nd Gen.) so far?

Sony Announces Smaller Digital Paper E-Ink Writing Tablet

Sony has now announced a smaller follow-up to last year's Digital Paper E-ink writing tablet, the DPT-RP1. That's according to a new announcement made today via Sony's official blog. The new tablet – also dubbed with Digital Paper branding but sold under the model number DPT-CP1 – seems to be the same basic design as the previous model. However, while that earlier device was sized as close as possible to A4 paper with a 13.3-inch display, the new model drops to A5 with a 10.3-inch display. That should make its use much easier under a wider number of circumstances since it will arguably be easier to hold in one hand while writing with the other.  However, there will certainly be other benefits as well. Samsung to build a P3 ‘total semiconductor factory’ in Pyeongtaek by 2021

It hasn't been long since Samsung completed the construction of its P2 semiconductor plant in Pyeongtaek, but now, the company is preparing to build its 3rd 'P3' semiconductor factory in the same city in the Gyeonggi Province. According to reports from the local media , Samsung wants to start constructing the P3 plant in September and make it fully operational by the end of 2021. The P3 plant will reportedly be 300 meters longer than the existing P2 plant, topping a total of 700 meters in length. Constructing the building itself should take roughly a year, and a few additional months will be needed to install the necessary equipment and ready it for mass production. Motorola Pronto Suite To Be Used By States Of Jersey Police

Motorola 's Pronto Suite of applications is going to be used by the States of Jersey Police, proposed as a forward-moving effort to transition from using methods for simpler tasks that could be completed more efficiently in the field by using digital resources instead of using paper. Examples of tasks that could be completed with some of the apps in the Pronto Suite are things like taking down statements or handing out penalty notices. The idea behind getting on board with the Pronto Suite is to save time for officers in the field and help streamline things. The suite will include things like the Pronto OTA server for storage management, the Pronto Hub Server, and the Pronto Web Manager to view captured data.
