Smart assistants were all over CES 2019. As Google, Amazon, and their various partners unveiled new services and technologies, it seemed one AI assistant or another had a role to play in a large proportion of the stuff we saw at the Las Vegas show. It was Google Assistant vs Amazon Alexa and no holds were barred.This makes sense. In a small update to YouTube, viewers are noticing recommendations based on other channel viewers. The company is no stranger to tweaking its algorithms and suggestions. Now the service predicts that if you're subscribed to a channel, then you'll probably enjoy other videos that followers of said channel watch.
