This is a render of Nokia's maybe upcoming new Android smartphone. There were other renders before that, too, but everyone looks different. However, the Nokia C1 (this will be its name) will come, the CEO of Nokia proved it. There will be an Android (with Nokias Z Launcher, which is pretty nice) and a Windows 10 mobile version. It's expected, that we'll see a mid-class phone from the Finish company. What do you think of this design? Honestly, I kinda like it, but the position of the power button is yeah... not optimal. #nokia #finish #android #google #microsoft #windows #retro #design #fresh #software #apps #search #internet #games #fun #camera #useful #modern #dailydriver by tech_reloaded on Instagram

With Android tablets being... Android tablets, Chromebooks are quickly being adapted to fill the void. On supported devices , they combine the utility of Android apps with the flexibility of an adaptive (and productive) form-factor. The latest tweak, presenting Android-style Settings and Shortcuts apps in the launcher, further affirms the role Google's Chrome OS is set to assume.  It's no secret, we're of the opinion that Chrome OS devices are set to displace Android tablets, and app-centric changes like these seem to imply that Google feels the same way. The changes were announced just earlier today by François Beaufort , Chrome evangelist and Googler. Shortcuts and Settings apps in the launcher on Chrome OS (above), former location for  The Settings app was previously accessible via the 3-dot menu in the corner of most windows, or the avatar and icon-speckled menu to be bottom right. Since Android apps landed for Chromebooks, the Settings menu has had a d...

So you're building your own PC, and you're wondering whether to use the traditional hard drive or this new and improved solution: a solid-state drive (SSD). There's some major differences between the two types of drives, but what you're probably immediately noticing in your search for hardware parts is the price difference. There has been a lot of speculation about the Galaxy Note 8’s launch in recent weeks. Reports have suggested that the handset will be launched earlier than previously expected. This means that Samsung won’t be unveiling it at the IFA 2017 convention in September. Samsung’s mobile boss recently confirmed that the Galaxy Note 8 is going to be launched towards the end of August . The company has now officially confirmed the Galaxy Note 8 launch date by sending out invites to the press. The event will take place on August 23, where the Note 8 will go official. This is going to be a really important moment for Samsung as it essentially marks the rebirth of the Galaxy Note lineup following the disaster that was the Galaxy Note 7 .
