Oppo Reno Z Launched in China with 48MP Dual Rear Cameras
Oppo has launched its Oppo Reno Z smartphone in China today after launching its Oppo Reno device in a Coral Orange color variant. The Oppo Reno Z smartphone was announced along with the Oppo Reno and Reno 10 Zoom in the European market and the device has been launched with MediaTek Helio P90 Chipset instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC as mentioned in Europe.
The Oppo Reno Z does not come with any pop-up cameras like the other Reno smartphone and instead it comes with a waterdrop notch that house the selfie camera. The device comes with a 6.40inch display on the front that gives Full HD+ resolutions along with 92 percent screen-to-body ratio. Furthermore, the device comes with Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box, with the companies own ColourOS 6 on top. The smartphone has a 3D curved glass body with an Aluminum mid-frame around it giving an elegant look.
Under the hood, we can find a 12nm Helio P90 octa-core processor with a clocking speed of 2.2GHz coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM storage and 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage. Oppo ha not provided any microSD card slot on this device to extended the storage further. The device comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor on the front and comes with a 4035mAh battery on the back with the support for VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology for 20W fast charge.
Talking about the camera section, the Oppo Reno Z comes equipped with a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and a 5MP depth sensor on the rear while on the front we can find a 32MP selfie sensor. The device measures 157.3 × 74.9 × 9.1 mm and weighs 186 grams and comes in Midnight Black, Pearl White, Coral Orange, and Star Purple color options. The handset is priced at CNY 2499 (approx USD 360) for the 8GB+ 128GB storage option.
