Stable Galaxy S10 Android 10 update now out for those on Android Pie

Last year, it was a Christmas gift, and this time, Samsung has chosen Thanksgiving as the special occasion to release the next version of Android for its latest flagship. The company pushed out the stable Android 10 update to the Galaxy S10 series in Germany for beta users earlier today, and now the update is rolling out for the general public, which means you can update to Android 10 and One UI 2.0 right away even if you're on Android Pie.

Like the update for beta users, the stable update for those on Android Pie is only available in Germany at this time. It could be a few days or a few weeks before Samsung expands availability of the update to other markets, and we can only just wait and see which of the two it will be. For now, if you're in Germany and are rocking a Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, or Galaxy S10+, you should be able to download Android 10 by tapping the Download and install option in the phone's Settings » Software update menu.

Once you have updated your phone, do check out our coverage of all the new features you get with One UI 2.0 and see what improvements and changes it brings to the user interface over One UI 1.1/1.5. Also let us know in the comments whether the update has been released in your country.
