Galaxy Themes picks up Dark Mode in latest update

A new update has been sent out for Galaxy Themes which adds support for the system-wide dark mode on Samsung devices. The company has gradually been updating many of its apps with support for the Dark Mode, so it was only a matter of time before Galaxy Themes picked up support as well.

A similar update was most recently released for Samsung Health. The app received an update that not only made some minor UI changes but also added support for the dark mode.

Galaxy Themes updated with support for Dark Mode

Galaxy Themes is a useful resource for those who want to customize the look of their devices. It offers a wide variety of free and paid themes that provide an across the board makeover of the UI, customizing everything from the wallpaper and icons to call and message interfaces.

Samsung has updated Galaxy Themes with support for Dark Mode. Version 5.1.00.212 of the app brings this change. It's gradually rolling out across the globe now and we do have the APK available for download already. It's good that Galaxy Themes now supports Dark Mode, it fits with the overall aesthetic when someone is using Dark Mode on their smartphone, which like most of us, is all of the time.

To access Galaxy Themes, simply long press on the home screen and tap on the Themes icon. Select the theme you like and download it. The entire process takes less than a minute but given the number of choices on offer, you can spend a considerable amount of time just browsing through the options.

Sony Announces Smaller Digital Paper E-Ink Writing Tablet

Sony has now announced a smaller follow-up to last year's Digital Paper E-ink writing tablet, the DPT-RP1. That's according to a new announcement made today via Sony's official blog. The new tablet – also dubbed with Digital Paper branding but sold under the model number DPT-CP1 – seems to be the same basic design as the previous model. However, while that earlier device was sized as close as possible to A4 paper with a 13.3-inch display, the new model drops to A5 with a 10.3-inch display. That should make its use much easier under a wider number of circumstances since it will arguably be easier to hold in one hand while writing with the other.  However, there will certainly be other benefits as well. Samsung to build a P3 ‘total semiconductor factory’ in Pyeongtaek by 2021

It hasn't been long since Samsung completed the construction of its P2 semiconductor plant in Pyeongtaek, but now, the company is preparing to build its 3rd 'P3' semiconductor factory in the same city in the Gyeonggi Province. According to reports from the local media , Samsung wants to start constructing the P3 plant in September and make it fully operational by the end of 2021. The P3 plant will reportedly be 300 meters longer than the existing P2 plant, topping a total of 700 meters in length. Constructing the building itself should take roughly a year, and a few additional months will be needed to install the necessary equipment and ready it for mass production. Samsung's P3 plant could be a 'total semiconductor factory' Given the size of the P3 plant compared to the P2 factory, industry watchers speculate that Samsung might want to turn the P3 facility into a 'total semiconductor factory' capable of producing DRAM and NAND flash chips as well...
