Samsung ending support for MirrorLink, Car Mode and Find My Car
Samsung has decided to end support for three in-car services at the same time. We hear that the company will no longer support MirrorLink , Care Mode and Find My Car. Samsung's devices have had MirrorLink support since 2014. MirrorLink is a widely used standard for car and smartphone connectivity. Those who own cars with MirrorLink-compatible stereos could use the built-in app on their Samsung phones to mirror their device's screen to the car's infotainment display. Samsung shuts down some more services Samsung has now decided to end support for MirrorLink starting June 1, 2020. It will not be available to new users after that. Existing users will be able to continue using it, however, if they factory reset their device, connect to a new vehicle, clear app data or even update the firmware on their device, they'll lose Mirrorlink. Samsung introduced its Car Mode app in 2015 as a sort of an alternative to Android Auto. It provided easy access to features you were
