Samsung TV Plus gets three new channels from Endemol Shine

Samsung TV Plus is Samsung's own free, on-demand video streaming service that comes pre-installed on all new TVs from the company. The South Korean firm is continuously adding more channels and content to its TV series over the past two years. Today, it has been announced that three new channels are coming to Samsung TV Plus.

Endemol Shine Group, a British-Dutch production and distribution company, announced earlier today that it is bringing three channels to Samsung TV Plus. Two of those channels—Deal or No Deal and Sterling Drama—are coming to Samsung's video streaming service in the US, while scripted drama channel Der Serienkanal will be available in Germany.

Sterling Drama has been available on Samsung TV Plus in the US since last week, and it brings British titles, including Hamish Macbeth, The Hour, and The Mill. Deal or No Deal will launch on Samsung TV Plus in the US soon, and it will bring the US version of hit game show hosted by Howie Mandel.

Der Serienkanal, which was launched on Samsung TV Plus in Germany last week, brings various shows, including Peaky Blinders, Real Humans, and Gracepoint. In November 2019, Endemol Shine Group had launched three channels—All Drama, Masters of Food, and Reel Truth—on Samsung TV Plus in the UK.

Kasia Jablonska, Endemol Shine Group's head of digital distribution and monetization, said, "We are very pleased to expand this strategic partnership with Samsung TV into new markets, which is a testament to both strength of Endemol Shine's catalog and Samsung TV's position in OTT market."

There are also new tools for podcasts. Spotify 's been my go-to music service for years now, but I'll be the first to say that its Android app is always due for improvement. The recent UI overhaul has made things a lot better, and according to some new features that were recently found in an APK teardown , a few cool tricks could be coming in the near future. First and foremost, the teardown reveals the ability to play songs that are locally stored on your Android device within Spotify. This isn't the same as fully uploading your tracks to the service the way you can with Google Play Music, but this is still a big step in the right direction. The "Your Library" tab also appears to be getting tweaked once more with a change to a tabbed layout for accessing your various playlists, songs, artists, etc. As it stands right now, these menu options are just stacked on top of one another above the titles you've recently listened to. Google leaks Nest Hub Max, 10-inch HD screen and a camera in tow

Google has accidentally leaked details about its unannounced product dubbed Nest Hub Max. It posted images on its online store revealing information about this product. The images have now been taken down, but the folks over at Android Police managed to take their screenshots before Google rectified its mistake. These images tell us that the Nest Hub Max will come with a 10-inch HD display, and the device will also sport stereo speakers. It will also have a built-in Nest Cam for motion and sound alerts, and you will be able to make video calls to your friends and family through Google Duo with it.
