You can get the Galaxy S20 5G from AT&T for just $10 a month

AT&T is offering a pretty sweet limited time deal on the Galaxy S20 5G in the USA. While the phone's full retail price remains unchanged at $999, customers willing to acquire the device on an AT&T Installment Plan can get the flagship for $10 a month, down from the usual price of $33.34 a month.

The offer requires a new line to a new or existing account, and customers will have to pay taxes on the full retail price up front, along with a $30 activation fee. To sweeten the deal further, AT&T is also offering a $150 reward card with a new Galaxy S20 5G purchase. The offer is available for the Galaxy S20 5G in all three color options including Cosmic Gray, Cloud Blue, and Cloud Pink.

The US-bound Galaxy S20 5G is powered by Qualcomm

The Galaxy S20 5G has a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200 by 1440 and 120Hz refresh rate at FHD resolution. In the USA, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC from Qualcomm, which is a superior choice over the Exynos 990 chipset powering the International model.

The device has 12GB of RAM, 128GB of UFS 3.0 storage, and boasts a triple camera setup comprising a 12MP wide sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide, and a 64MP telephoto shooter with 3x hybrid optical zoom. The components rely on a 4,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging capabilities.

Samsung Display remains the leader in global display market

The latest data from IHS Markit shows that Samsung Display has retained its dominant position as the top global smartphone display vendor in the first quarter of this year. It was able to do that as more smartphone manufacturers opted for OLED panels for their premium devices. Samsung picked up the bulk of those orders. Samsung's display affiliate is estimated to have shipped $3.4 billion worth of smartphone displays in the first quarter ending March 2019. It accounted for 40.2 percent of the smartphone display market in this period. Samsung Display also accounted for 80 percent of OLED panel supplies. ARCore apps are now available for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S in China

Google's ARCore apps can now run on the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S in China. The apps are available in the Xiaomi App Store through a partnership with Google. A tweet from the Google AR & VR Twitter account announced the news today, although the exact ARCore apps that are now compatible with the Mi Mix 2S were not named. Google did say in the tweet that more partners for ARCore are coming soon. The Mi Mix 2S is the first phone from the manufacturer to support ARCore. Some OnePlus 6Ts have an issue with waves of static on the display

Based on a handful of reports on the OnePlus product forums, some 6T owners have run into a problem with their phone's display in which a pixelated sort of "wave" or pulse of bright colors travels up or down the screen. A reliable trigger can't seem to be found, but for those that are affected, it appears to happen more often on the lock screen while using either OnePlus' face recognition or the in-display fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone. The issue — which our Cody Toombs aptly described as "like something changed in the Matrix" — is demonstrated in the video below: VIDEO Based on reports, a factory reset can't fix the problem, and it doesn't appear to be tied to any specific SKU.
