We've recently announced new policies that further enhance trust and safety with our users. Learn more with the resources below.

New policies announcement - get a quick overview on new and notable policy changes.

Subscriptions policy - by June 16, 2020 subscription offers must comply with new guidelines that ensure users have an informed choice before signing up.

Location policy - please review the policy and evaluate if you need to access background location. Enforcement for existing apps will begin in November 2020.

What else is new on Google Play

Teacher Approved program: a new editorial program to highlight high-quality, teacher-approved apps for kids.

Seller support in new markets: from 24 March 2020, developers in Gambia, Liberia, and Sierra Leone can register for Google Play merchant accounts and sell paid applications, in-app products, and subscriptions in Google Play.
