Third-party launchers on Android are available to suit every need, but one of the best for years has been Nova Launcher. As of last week, Nova has been available for a whopping 6 years, and the developers have a special treat for those who haven’t bought it yet…

In case you’ve never heard of it, Nova Launcher is one of the most popular third-party homescreen replacement apps for Android with dozens upon dozens of ways to customize your homescreen. From icon size to icon packs and colors, there’s really no limit to what you can do with Nova beyond your own creativity. Of course, you can do quite a bit with the free version, but you’ll need Nova’s Prime upgrade to unlock everything.

Typically, buying Prime costs $4.99 (which is absolutely worth it), but right now, Nova is discounting that to “the lowest possible price.” In every region that supports it, Nova is being discounted as much as it can, and in the United States, that’s down to just 99¢.

If you haven’t purchased Prime or know someone who hasn’t, this is the perfect time to pick it up. To take advantage of the price cut, simply head over to the Google Play Store.

There are also new tools for podcasts. Spotify 's been my go-to music service for years now, but I'll be the first to say that its Android app is always due for improvement. The recent UI overhaul has made things a lot better, and according to some new features that were recently found in an APK teardown , a few cool tricks could be coming in the near future. First and foremost, the teardown reveals the ability to play songs that are locally stored on your Android device within Spotify. This isn't the same as fully uploading your tracks to the service the way you can with Google Play Music, but this is still a big step in the right direction. The "Your Library" tab also appears to be getting tweaked once more with a change to a tabbed layout for accessing your various playlists, songs, artists, etc. As it stands right now, these menu options are just stacked on top of one another above the titles you've recently listened to. Google leaks Nest Hub Max, 10-inch HD screen and a camera in tow

Google has accidentally leaked details about its unannounced product dubbed Nest Hub Max. It posted images on its online store revealing information about this product. The images have now been taken down, but the folks over at Android Police managed to take their screenshots before Google rectified its mistake. These images tell us that the Nest Hub Max will come with a 10-inch HD display, and the device will also sport stereo speakers. It will also have a built-in Nest Cam for motion and sound alerts, and you will be able to make video calls to your friends and family through Google Duo with it. Nest Hub Max details The website didn't have any actual photos of the Nest Hub Max, so we don't know what exactly it looks like - that much they managed to keep secret.
