Samsung Galaxy J4 Announced With Exynos 7570 SoC, 2GB Of RAM

Samsung has just announced a new budget smartphone, the Galaxy J4. This handset surfaced a couple of times thus far, while we've exclusively shared various color options of the device less than a week ago. Well, the phone is now official, as it got listed on Samsung's official website in Pakistan, and that listing confirms both the design of the device, as well as its specifications, even though the phone's price tag is not available just yet.

If you take a look at the phone, you will see that it looks like some of the company's older devices, which is not surprising considering that this is an entry-level smartphone. The device sports rather thick bezels above and below the display, while it has a physical home key on that bottom bezel, and no, it does not double as a fingerprint scanner. Two capacitive navigation keys are included on that bottom bezel as well, while you will notice Samsung's branding above the display, and on the back of the device. The power / lock key is included on the right-hand side of the phone, while the device's volume up and down buttons sit on the left. This phone sports a plastic back cover, which is removable.

As already mentioned, this is an entry-level phone, it is fueled by the Exynos 7570 64-bit octa-core SoC, which is clocked at 1.4GHz, while a 3,000mAh battery is also included in the package. The device sports a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, while it includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage (expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card). Android 8.0 Oreo comes pre-installed on the device, while you will find a single 13-megapixel camera (f/1.9 aperture) on the back of the phone. A 5-megapixel camera (f/2.2 aperture) is included on the phone's front side, while a 3,000mAh battery sits on the inside of this phone. A 3.5mm headphone jack is included on the bottom of the Galaxy J4, while the phone measures 151.7 x 77.2 x 8.1mm, and weighs 145 grams. The Galaxy J4 comes in Black, Gold, and Orchid Gray color variants. The device will be available in emerging markets, like Pakistan, and its price tag will be announced on a per-region basis soon.
