US pre-orders for LG G7 ThinQ are now live

LG's latest mobile offering - G7 ThinQ - is now available to pre-order in the US. Three of the Big Four US carriers - Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile - are now accepting pre-orders. Here are the details: While Verizon and T-Mobile are offering the device for $750, Sprint is selling it for $792. Those willing to go down the monthly payments route, Verizon is asking for $31.25/month (for 24 months), T-Mo is asking for $30 down + $30 a month (for 24 months), and Sprint's G7 ThinQ will cost you $33/month (for 18 months). Apple has decided to postpone new features in iOS in favor of improving the reliability and performance of the operating system, as according to a report by Axios. According to the report, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering, announced the revised plan to employees at a meeting earlier this month. This pushes features like refresh of the homescreen and in-car user interface, improvements to core apps like Mail and camera experience to 2019. Google’s December 2018 security patch includes much-needed RAM management fix

Every first Monday of the month, we're used to seeing Google launch security patches for its supported devices. This month is no different, as Google has released the December 2018 security patch. The patch not only fixes a bunch of security bugs, but also features the long awaited memory performance fixes. Android Pie has long been killing apps in the background (even if you were using them a second ago) and it's even affected devices other than Pixel /Nexus devices and we hope this fix will help. There are also some camera fixes for Pixel users included as well. Surprisingly, we're seeing the updates hit the Nexus 5X and 6P, both of which have reached their end of life. It's good to see Google support these old devices even when their three years are up and the company has no obligation to update them. December's software release is here.
