Xiaomi Mi 8 with display notch & dual camera setup appears in retail packaging

The retail packaging of Xiaomi's upcoming Mi 8 flagship has leaked online. The low-cost Chinese brand has already confirmed its plans to unveil the Xiaomi Mi 8 on May 31 and now, after a number of previous leaks, what appears to be the device's retail packaging has shown up, revealing various design details in the process.

Overall, it appears Xiaomi's next flagship will resemble Apple's iPhone X quite closely, sporting what seems to be a bezel-less display complete with a notch up top. Additionally, this is rumored to house new hardware that will allow for Face ID-rivalling 3D facial recognition, ...

Apple has decided to postpone new features in iOS in favor of improving the reliability and performance of the operating system, as according to a report by Axios. According to the report, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering, announced the revised plan to employees at a meeting earlier this month. Google’s December 2018 security patch includes much-needed RAM management fix

Every first Monday of the month, we're used to seeing Google launch security patches for its supported devices. This month is no different, as Google has released the December 2018 security patch. The patch not only fixes a bunch of security bugs, but also features the long awaited memory performance fixes. Android Pie has long been killing apps in the background (even if you were using them a second ago) and it's even affected devices other than Pixel /Nexus devices and we hope this fix will help. There are also some camera fixes for Pixel users included as well. Surprisingly, we're seeing the updates hit the Nexus 5X and 6P, both of which have reached their end of life. It's good to see Google support these old devices even when their three years are up and the company has no obligation to update them. December's software release is here.
