Samsung Galaxy Fit e gets a new software update
Samsung's newly released Galaxy Fit e is receiving a new software update in several countries, including Germany. It is a tiny update with some stability improvements. The new software version is R375XXUOASF1. The update weighs 1.80MB over the air.
The Galaxy Fit e is a part of Samsung's 2019 lineup of wearable devices, which also includes its richer sibling, the Galaxy Fit. The new fitness band has a 0.74-inch PMOLED screen with a resolution of 64 x 128 pixels. It packs a 70 mAh battery, which is capable of running the device for up to a week on normal usage. Features on offer include activity tracking, motion detection, sleep, stress, and heart-rate tracking, and more. It comes with MIL-STD-810G military-grade ruggedness certification and is water-resistant for up to 10 minutes at a depth of 50 meters.
The device is extremely lightweight at 15 grams, and can be worn day in, day out without bothering your arms. At just €39, the Galaxy Fit e offers a good value for money. But whether it's worth your money or not is something you may better find in our review.
The new update for the Galaxy Fit e can be downloaded via the Galaxy Wearable (Samsung Gear) app on your phone. Just go to the About Gear » Update Gear software section in the Settings tab of the app and select Download updates manually.
