As part of the latest Families policies, by September 1st all existing apps must fill in the new target audience and content section of the Google Play Console and comply with our new policies. Upcoming Google Play changes & policy deadlines
August 1st:
If your app uses native code, you'll need to provide a 64-bit version in order to publish an update. If you're not sure that your app meets the requirement, you can check the status by uploading a draft version to the Play Console. You'll see an alert if there's anything to address. Please note extensions have been granted to games that use the following SDKs:
Corona Labs SDK - until August 2020
Adobe Air software and the AIR SDK - until August 2020
Unity 5.6.7 or older - until August 2021
Any new apps you publish must target at least Android 9 (API level 28).
September 1st:
All apps must fill out the new target audience and content section of the Google Play Console and comply with updated Families policies.
