The Galaxy J2 Core could be Samsung's first Android Go smartphone


It looks like Samsung is the next smartphone company to jump on the Android Go bandwagon. The version of Android that's been specifically designed to work on entry-level phones with 1GB RAM or less has been supported by many handset manufacturers lately.

An unannounced Samsung smartphone has been recently spotted at Geekbench and judging by its specs, this could be the South Korean company's first Android Go handset. The device goes by model number SM-J260G and packs just 1GB RAM and a quad-core Exynos 7570 processor.
