Note 8 Screen Has Flickering Horizontal Lines

Problem: Hello there, I have a note 8 that was just received after replacing the screen from Samsung due to a screen burn in. I noticed horizontal lines are flickering from bottom to top covering the whole screen when swiping half a swipe from the home screen to the app drawer. It does not show on a white or dark backgrounds. Also, when on the home screen couple not many lines could be seen there as static lines not moving. Is this normal? Note that the screen was just replaced after a burn in. What do you recommend me to do?

Solution: It looks like the replacement screen is also damaged. You can check if this is caused by a software glitch by doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. If the issue still occurs after the reset then you need to bring the phone back to the Samsung service center and have it repaired.

Note 8 Screen Is Black With Blue Flashing LED

Problem: I was using my samsung Galaxy note 8 and when I locked it, it went black with the blue led light flashing. I've tried to do everything possible to get it to come back on but nothing is working for it.

Related Problem: My phone started flickering until it just went completely black. I tried to restart it,  and tried other solutions, all failed. the screen. stays black and flickers some more if hold the power button. Please Help

Related Problem: Sometimes My galaxy Note 8 screen become black and by pressing lock key it was giving blue light and again screen goes black.. after sometimes it becomes fine by its own.. This continue more than 2 to 3 time in a day, mostly when i pressed the lock key.. At low brightness the screen also flickering…

Solution: Try doing a simulated battery pull on your phone by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this. In case the issue still persists then try starting the phone in Safe Mode. If the phone works in this mode then the problem could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it. In case the problem still persists in Safe Mode then you should start the phone in recovery mode then do a factory reset. Take note that this reset will erase your phone data.

Note 8 Screen Is Black After Drop

Problem: dropped my phone (again)..it worked and then went kaput 2 hours later. screen is black with a thick green horizontal bar at the bottom. i can still receive notifications. is this repairable? what are my options? please help!

Solution: It looks like the display assembly has been damaged by the drop. You can try checking if the problem is caused by a software glitch by starting the phone in recovery mode then doing a factory reset. Take note that you will lose your phone data when you do the reset. In case this doesn't fix the problem then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
