LG "Q Note" trademark suggests smartphone with stylus could be in the works

LG could be preparing a new stylus-equipped smartphone according to a new trademark filing. The South Korean company's last attempt at a device featuring a stylus came nearly one year ago, with the launch of the LG Stylo 3 Plus. According to a trademark for the "Q Note" name by the company, however, it appears LG could be readying another stylus-equipped device.

Currently, the LG Q line of devices is relatively new, with the company introducing its first series of smartphones last year, in the form of the LG Q6 and Q8. These acted as the company's mid-range offerings throughout the year ...

Samsung started the rollout of Android 10 to its current-generation flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 , three months ago. One month later, Verizon released the Android 10 update to the Galaxy Tab S6 on its network. Now, T-Mobile has released the Android 10 software update to the tablet on its network in the US . The new software update with firmware version  T867USQU2BTE1 brings Android 10 to the LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab S6 (SM-T867U). It also features One UI 2.1 and the May 2020 Android security patch . The file size of the update is over 2.1GB, so we would advise you to use a Wi-Fi connection to download the new software. Although T-Mobile's changelog doesn't mention new features, the Android 10 update brings smoother animations and transitions, Google's gesture-based UI navigation, improved Dark Mode, tweaked color scheme and icons, and more. Apple has decided to postpone new features in iOS in favor of improving the reliability and performance of the operating system, as according to a report by Axios. According to the report, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering, announced the revised plan to employees at a meeting earlier this month. This pushes features like refresh of the homescreen and in-car user interface, improvements to core apps like Mail and camera experience to 2019. What we will get this year is improvements to AR, digital health and parental controls. Apart from that, the OS will largely feature improvements to performance and user experience.
