[Poll] Attention, America: Are you happy with Bixby Voice?

Earlier this week, Samsung finally released Bixby Voice for the Galaxy S8 in the United States. The news came following what felt like a lifetime of delays, which stemmed from the firm not having the resources it needed to translate the platform from Korean to US English, but alas — it got there in the end.

Now that folks in the United States have had some time to play around with Bixby Voice, we want to know exactly what they think of it. Some OnePlus 6Ts have an issue with waves of static on the display

Based on a handful of reports on the OnePlus product forums, some 6T owners have run into a problem with their phone's display in which a pixelated sort of "wave" or pulse of bright colors travels up or down the screen. A reliable trigger can't seem to be found, but for those that are affected, it appears to happen more often on the lock screen while using either OnePlus' face recognition or the in-display fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone. The issue — which our Cody Toombs aptly described as "like something changed in the Matrix" — is demonstrated in the video below: VIDEO Based on reports, a factory reset can't fix the problem, and it doesn't appear to be tied to any specific SKU. Samsung Display remains the leader in global display market

The latest data from IHS Markit shows that Samsung Display has retained its dominant position as the top global smartphone display vendor in the first quarter of this year. It was able to do that as more smartphone manufacturers opted for OLED panels for their premium devices. Samsung picked up the bulk of those orders. Samsung's display affiliate is estimated to have shipped $3.4 billion worth of smartphone displays in the first quarter ending March 2019. It accounted for 40.2 percent of the smartphone display market in this period. Samsung Display also accounted for 80 percent of OLED panel supplies. Samsung Display retains its leadership It's pertinent to mention here that Samsung's Q1 market share is 6.6 percentage points lower than it was in the same period last year.
