LastPass finally gets official support for Android Oreo auto-fill

One of the best new features in Android 8.0 Oreo is support for AutoFill APIs. This allows users to choose an auto-fill manager app to store autofill information. This info is then available to auto-fill anywhere it's needed. It's an incredibly handy feature, but it only works if devs put it to good use. LastPass is doing just that.

LastPass has had the feature in beta for a while, but now it's officially ready for everyone. If you're running Oreo, you can select LastPass as your auto-fill manager. All of the info you have saved in LastPass, including credit card, address, and passwords will be available to fill in forms. You won't have to grant permission for LastPass to use accessibility features as a workaround anymore.

For everyone not running Oreo, LastPass is still working with Google on a solution to circumvent the accessibility crackdown. In a perfect world, everyone would be on the latest version of Android, but we know that's not realistic. Hopefully, LastPass and Google can come up with something good.
