Galaxy Buds has received a new firmware update

Three months after the last firmware update was released for the Galaxy Buds, Samsung is rolling out a new update for its wireless earbuds today. As expected, it's a minor update that only system stability and reliability improvements.

Samsung improved the stability of the Bluetooth connection in the previous update. It really did help make the connection more stable. This latest update further improves upon that.

Galaxy Buds receive a new firmware update

Samsung has already released a couple of Bluetooth-related updates so far for the Galaxy Buds. It has done a good job of improving the user experience of the device and as it now gears up to launch the Galaxy Buds+, it's making sure that the original wireless earbuds are looked after as well.

Firmware version R170XXU0ATA2 is now rolling out for the Galaxy Buds. The changelog doesn't reveal much beyond saying that there's "improved system stability and reliability." Some more information about this update has been provided on Samsung Korea's official forums. The update addresses an errant beep sound when muting/unmuting a phone call and also works out some kinks with the connection process.

The latest Galaxy Buds update can be downloaded right away by first pairing the device with a compatible smartphone and then installing the update through the Galaxy Wearable app.

Samsung Display remains the leader in global display market

The latest data from IHS Markit shows that Samsung Display has retained its dominant position as the top global smartphone display vendor in the first quarter of this year. It was able to do that as more smartphone manufacturers opted for OLED panels for their premium devices. Samsung picked up the bulk of those orders. Samsung's display affiliate is estimated to have shipped $3.4 billion worth of smartphone displays in the first quarter ending March 2019. It accounted for 40.2 percent of the smartphone display market in this period. Samsung Display also accounted for 80 percent of OLED panel supplies. Samsung Display retains its leadership It's pertinent to mention here that Samsung's Q1 market share is 6.6 percentage points lower than it was in the same period last year. Some OnePlus 6Ts have an issue with waves of static on the display

Based on a handful of reports on the OnePlus product forums, some 6T owners have run into a problem with their phone's display in which a pixelated sort of "wave" or pulse of bright colors travels up or down the screen. A reliable trigger can't seem to be found, but for those that are affected, it appears to happen more often on the lock screen while using either OnePlus' face recognition or the in-display fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone. T-Mobile starts rolling out Android 10 update to Galaxy Tab S6

Samsung started the rollout of Android 10 to its current-generation flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 , three months ago. One month later, Verizon released the Android 10 update to the Galaxy Tab S6 on its network. Now, T-Mobile has released the Android 10 software update to the tablet on its network in the US . The new software update with firmware version  T867USQU2BTE1 brings Android 10 to the LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab S6 (SM-T867U). It also features One UI 2.1 and the May 2020 Android security patch . The file size of the update is over 2.1GB, so we would advise you to use a Wi-Fi connection to download the new software. Although T-Mobile's changelog doesn't mention new features, the Android 10 update brings smoother animations and transitions, Google's gesture-based UI navigation, improved Dark Mode, tweaked color scheme and icons, and more.
