Breaking: Samsung Galaxy S9 Android 10 update released!
Well, color us surprised: Samsung has released the Android 10 update for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. The update is rolling out in Germany and in the US for those using the S9 or S9+ on Xfinity Mobile. It's worth noting that the update is currently out for those who are on Android Pie. Yes, the final build of Android 10 is yet to be released for One UI 2.0 beta users, though that is probably going to change soon.
When will the update start making its way to Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ owners in other countries? Well, since Samsung says the update is due in February in its Android 10 roadmap, we guess it's possible it will be a few days before the rollout expands to more markets. Or, well, it may happen in a few hours as well, as Samsung's roadmap for Germany says the update is due in March even though the update has been released in the country today. We'll just have to wait and see.
The Android 10 update for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ is between 1.8GB to 1.9GB in size and can be downloaded over the air from the phone's Settings » Software update menu. We also have Android 10 firmware in our firmware archive, which you can install on your phone using a Windows PC if the update isn't available for you over the air.
