Samsung TV Plus gets access to sports culture videos from PlayersTV in the US

Samsung has announced that its free smart TV video service, which offers access to over 100 channels, is getting new video content related to sports culture and lifestyle. Videos from PlayersTV will now be available on Samsung TV Plus in the US.

PlayersTV will be exclusively available through Samsung TV Plus. It offers videos that can be considered as an intersection of sports, culture, and lifestyle. Samsung smart TV users in the US can watch PlayersTV on channel 1003, and the content includes comedy videos, documentaries, reality shows, and podcasts, offering insights into athletes' interests, passions, and the off-screen part of their lives. The channel was introduced during the NBA All-Star Weekend event last month.

PlayersTV has partnerships with a lot of known athletes, across all major sports leagues. It includes content from Chris Paul, Vernon Davis, CJ McCollum, Baron Davis, and Carmelo Anthony. Some notable content that's currently available on the channel consists of WTF Baron Davis, Most Valuable Partner, and Mindful Life with DeAndre Jordan.

Samsung TV Plus is a free service that comes pre-installed on the company's smart TVs released in 2016 or later. Except for an internet connection, users don't need to pay for anything else or to download additional apps on their TVs. It brings business content from CBSN, sports content from La Liga, and music videos from Vevo.

Sony Announces Smaller Digital Paper E-Ink Writing Tablet

Sony has now announced a smaller follow-up to last year's Digital Paper E-ink writing tablet, the DPT-RP1. That's according to a new announcement made today via Sony's official blog. The new tablet – also dubbed with Digital Paper branding but sold under the model number DPT-CP1 – seems to be the same basic design as the previous model. However, while that earlier device was sized as close as possible to A4 paper with a 13.3-inch display, the new model drops to A5 with a 10.3-inch display. That should make its use much easier under a wider number of circumstances since it will arguably be easier to hold in one hand while writing with the other.  However, there will certainly be other benefits as well. Samsung to build a P3 ‘total semiconductor factory’ in Pyeongtaek by 2021

It hasn't been long since Samsung completed the construction of its P2 semiconductor plant in Pyeongtaek, but now, the company is preparing to build its 3rd 'P3' semiconductor factory in the same city in the Gyeonggi Province. According to reports from the local media , Samsung wants to start constructing the P3 plant in September and make it fully operational by the end of 2021. The P3 plant will reportedly be 300 meters longer than the existing P2 plant, topping a total of 700 meters in length. Constructing the building itself should take roughly a year, and a few additional months will be needed to install the necessary equipment and ready it for mass production. Motorola 's Pronto Suite of applications is going to be used by the States of Jersey Police, proposed as a forward-moving effort to transition from using methods for simpler tasks that could be completed more efficiently in the field by using digital resources instead of using paper.
