Facebook Video makes its way to Samsung’s Smart TVs

Samsung has announced that the Facebook Video application is now available to download on its 2017 QLED TVs via Smart Hub, with an expansion to all of its 2015, 2016 and other 2017 Smart TV models expected to take place in the coming weeks, reveals ZDNet.

“It is a pleasure to bring the world’s social network to Samsung Smart TV users, as well as continue to see the value of Samsung Smart TV, as a platform, growing,” said Sangsook Han, Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics.

Through the Facebook Video application for TV, users can watch videos shared by friends or Pages they follow, tune into top live videos from around the world and scroll through recommended content based on their interests, without even having to pull their phone out of their pocket.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A20 smartphone last week, and the company is expected to launch its slightly toned down version dubbed Galaxy A20e soon. The A20e was listed on Samsung UK's website earlier this month, and now, its alleged case renders have surfaced revealing its design. These case renders show us that the A20e will look similar to the A20. It has a waterdrop notch display on the front with a dual camera setup located on the back in the left corner. The cameras are accompanied by an LED flash and an oval-shaped fingerprint scanner. Once again, the year is drawing to a close. Of course, we also looking back over a year of reporting right here in the office, but what has inspired us the most in the past twelve months?
