Galaxy A (2018) series may tout the Infinity Display

The Infinity Display was introduced by Samsung with the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ earlier this year. Samsung has now brought it to the Galaxy Note series as well with its latest flagship. It would make sense for the company to bring the Infinity Display to its premium mid-range smartphones too.

According to Twitter leakster @mmddj_china, the Infinity Display is coming to the Galaxy A series. Samsung already launched this year’s iteration of the series back in January. Therefore, it can reasonably be expected that the Galaxy A (2018) will feature the Infinity Display.

Whether or not Samsung will bump the resolution up to Quad HD for these handsets remains to be seen. What we can expect is for them to have dual-edge curved displays with minimal bezels. This would allow for an increased screen-to-body ratio on those handsets.

No further information is available at this point in time about the Galaxy A (2018) series. It will certainly come with upgraded internals and might possibly have a dual camera system as well.

Samsung has said nothing about the Galaxy A (2018) as yet so take this with a grain of salt. We still have a long way to go before the company is due to unveil the latest iteration of its Galaxy A series.
