Samsung Developer Conference 2017 Session Speaker: Nathan Martz ARCore is a brand new platform from Google that allows developers to build augmented reality (AR) experiences at Android scale. This session will provide developers with everything they need to start creating the next generation of smartphone AR apps, including a deep dive into the fundamental technologies that enable ARCore, an overview of the ARCore SDKs for Java, Unity, and Unreal, and a selection of technical and design best practices.

Apple has decided to postpone new features in iOS in favor of improving the reliability and performance of the operating system, as according to a report by Axios. According to the report, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering, announced the revised plan to employees at a meeting earlier this month. This pushes features like refresh of the homescreen and in-car user interface, improvements to core apps like Mail and camera experience to 2019. DJI showcased its new Mavic Air drone in New York. The third quadcopter in this series is of similar quality to its predecessors and can also fold its arms for better portability. For its size, no competitor offers so much in terms of photo quality.
