Samsung Developer Conference 2017 Session Speaker: Kyoung-Gu Woo We started Bixby as a multi-modal voice interface, specialized in device control. You can tell Bixby whatever you want on your device and Bixby does it for you, based on the NLU technology behind the scene. To make Bixby respond to both touch and voice, we had to deal with two tricky problems of version-aware classification and utterance conflict resolution. In this talk we'd like to share our experiences on how we tackled the problems and evolved over the time. We hope you will enjoy this talk by becoming a NLU problem solver for a while.

Telenav Seeks Disruption With Free In-Car Services

Location-based solution provider Telenav is seeking to disrupt the in-car services industry with a new monetization platform designed to offer a variety of in-car services such as free navigation to consumers and monetize them through advertising. Originally announced at Las Vegas, Nevada-based Consumer Electronics Show in January, Telenav's offering is effectively targeted at bringing the ad-supported software business model that already proved its worth in the mobile industry to the in-vehicle tech segment. The company's internal studies and a number of independent surveys suggest the vast majority of consumers "would prefer free in-car services monetized through ads rather than pay for them" like they would traditionally, Telenav Executive Director of Strategy Ky Tang told AndroidHeadlines in an interview. The OnePlus 6T is the biggest launch yet for the one-time underdog out of China. After years of selling their phones directly and unlocked, OnePlus has now found a carrier partner (T-Mobile) and also opened up their phone to usage on Verizon's network here in the US. So even though the hardware isn't a massive upgrade over the OnePlus 6, which was released only a few months ago, the reach for the OnePlus 6T is a big, big deal. Galaxy Tab S3 reveals specs at benchmarking website

We picked up on a rumor out of China earlier this week which claimed to reveal the Galaxy Tab S3 specifications . It was claimed that the upcoming tablet would be powered by an Exynos 7420 processor with 4GB RAM. We’re seeing a conflicting report today as the Galaxy Tab S3 has now been spotted on the benchmarking website GFXBench. As per the benchmark result, the Galaxy Tab S3 features a 9.6-inch display with 2,048×1536 pixel resolution and a 2.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor under the hood hooked up to 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. It also reveals that the device could feature a 12-megapixel rear camera and may be running Android 7.0 Nougat from the get go. It’s pertinent to mention here that only the 9.6-inch variant of the Galaxy Tab S3 has been spotted as far and it remains to be seen if its smaller sibling will make an apperance soon as well.
