The Nokia 7 Plus is an advanced version of the Nokia 7 that debuted last year. The device comes with the aluminum body and features glass-clad front and rear panels adorned with copper edges. The Nokia 7 Plus is powered by a Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 chipset with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes in a single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. A 3800mAh non-removable battery backs the device. Storage on the phone can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. On the software side of things, the Nokia 7 Plus runs a near-stock version of Android 8.0 Oreo without any customizations on top. The device supports connectivity options such as Dual-SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C.

The Vivo V7 Plus, on the contrary, is powered by a 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset clubbed with Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The phone runs Android 7.1.2-based FunTouch OS. A 3225mAh battery backs the device. Storage on the Vivo V7 Plus can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. Connectivity options on the V7 Plus include Dual-SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port.

Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro is backed by a 1.6GHz Exynos octa-core processor with Mali-T830 MP1 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The Galaxy J7 Pro is backed by a 3300mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It supports connectivity options such as Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, microUSB 2.0, and USB OTG.

In this comparison, the Nokia 7 Plus comes up as a winner with its better chipset and GPU, however, it is not up for purchase in India right now. The Vivo V7 Plus takes the second place with its hardware better than the Galaxy J7 Pro.

The Nokia 7 Plus sports dual camera setup on the rear with a combination of 12MP+12MP Carl Zeiss sensors with support for dual pixel phase detection autofocus and dual LED dual-tone flash. The primary sensor on the rear bears f/1.75 aperture while the second sensor has an aperture of f/2.6. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps while the front camera can record full HD 1080p videos at 30fps.

The Vivo V7 Plus sports a 16MP rear camera coupled with features such as detection autofocus (PDAF), LED flash, and support for 1080p HD video recording. On the front, it bears a 24MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 lens and an LED flash.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro sports a 13MP sensor for the rear camera paired with LED flash. It bears a 13MP sensor for the front camera as well, with LED flash. Both the cameras are capable of recording full HD videos at 30fps.

Even in this segment, the Nokia 7 Plus takes the first place. However, if you are more concerned about the front camera, then the Vivo V7 Plus should be your first choice. The Galaxy J7 Pro pales out in front of the other two phones.

Regarding pricing, the Nokia 7 Plus was launched at 400 Euros that converts to approximately Rs. 32,000. For now, there is no confirmation regarding the device's launch in India. To recall, even the Nokia 7 was never launched in India. On the other hand, the Vivo V7 Plus is up for sale at Rs. 18,299 while the Galaxy J7 Pro is retailing at Rs. 18,239.

Given the specs and features, the Nokia 7 Plus rises up as an ultimate winner, but it is not available in India. The Vivo V7 Plus is a great device too, so if you want to buy a device soon then you can go for the V7 Plus. The Galaxy J7 Pro completely pales out in front of the other two devices.
