Telegram is getting a massive update on Android and iOS

The folks over at Telegram have just released a new update for their mobile apps on Android and iOS. Most of the new features and improvements included in the update are available on both platforms, but a couple of them are exclusively available on Android.

Let's start with those new features that are common to Android and iOS users. First off, the update introduces the options to replace media and add captions. The former allows Telegram users to replace a photo or video they sent by accident with the correct version, while the latter does exactly what it says.

Samsung’s next Galaxy Fold could switch from polymide to ultra-thin flexible glass

Samsung could fix one of the more prominent Galaxy Fold imperfections next year, as sources cited by ETNews claim that the company will abandon its transparent polyimide solution in favor of flexible ultra-thin glass (UTG).The source states that Samsung Display is already manufacturing the foldable displays for its next foldable smartphone model, adding that another company called DOWOO INSYS also began manufacturing the first batch of UTG panels for Samsung.Samsung to have exclusivity over DOWOO INSYS' UTG solutionThe recent report states that DOWOO INSYS and SCHOTT AG are the two best ultra-thin glass manufacturers in the industry, with the former having the upper edge and "the best technical skills when it comes to UTG" according to industry sources.Interestingly, if the report is correct then DOWOO INSYS has already agreed to become Samsung's exclusive UTG panel supplier. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy M30s in India last week as a mid-year refresh to the existing M30. It was scheduled to go on sale on September 29, but Amazon India has now revealed that Prime subscribers can buy the online-exclusive device a day early (i.e., starting today) on its website. Those without a Prime subscription can purchase the M30s from September 29 onwards as announced on both Amazon.in and the Samsung India online store.The Galaxy M30s is priced at Rs. 13,999 (~$200) for the 4GB/64GB version and Rs. 16,999 (~$240) for the 6GB/128GB configuration.
