How to watch Samsung Developer Conference 2019 keynote live

Samsung's yearly developer conference will be kicking off today, October 29, at 10 AM PT, in San Jose, California, and the company will have a range of topics to address, such as Bixby, 5G, IoT, and One UI 2.0. SDC (Samsung Developer Conference) is a two-day event aimed primarily at developers, and it starts with a keynote by DJ Koh, president and CEO of Samsung's mobile division, and other speakers that will reveal tidbits on everything the Korean giant is working on.

You don't have to be a developer or be in attendance physically at SDC to watch that keynote, however. You will be able to watch the whole thing on YouTube thanks to Samsung's live stream, and we will add that YouTube stream here once the event begins, so make sure to check back later today. We will have boots on the ground at SDC, so you can also look forward to our coverage of everything Samsung announces at SDC 2019.

Samsung Display remains the leader in global display market

The latest data from IHS Markit shows that Samsung Display has retained its dominant position as the top global smartphone display vendor in the first quarter of this year. It was able to do that as more smartphone manufacturers opted for OLED panels for their premium devices. Samsung picked up the bulk of those orders. Samsung's display affiliate is estimated to have shipped $3.4 billion worth of smartphone displays in the first quarter ending March 2019. It accounted for 40.2 percent of the smartphone display market in this period. Samsung Display also accounted for 80 percent of OLED panel supplies. Samsung Display retains its leadership It's pertinent to mention here that Samsung's Q1 market share is 6.6 percentage points lower than it was in the same period last year. T-Mobile starts rolling out Android 10 update to Galaxy Tab S6

Samsung started the rollout of Android 10 to its current-generation flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 , three months ago. One month later, Verizon released the Android 10 update to the Galaxy Tab S6 on its network. Now, T-Mobile has released the Android 10 software update to the tablet on its network in the US . The new software update with firmware version  T867USQU2BTE1 brings Android 10 to the LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab S6 (SM-T867U). It also features One UI 2.1 and the May 2020 Android security patch . The file size of the update is over 2.1GB, so we would advise you to use a Wi-Fi connection to download the new software. Although T-Mobile's changelog doesn't mention new features, the Android 10 update brings smoother animations and transitions, Google's gesture-based UI navigation, improved Dark Mode, tweaked color scheme and icons, and more.
