Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event to happen virtually on August 5

We've all been eagerly waiting for Samsung to announce an official date for its next Unpacked event. Today, the company has finally announced that it will hold a virtual Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event on August 5. In its invitation, the company has mentioned that it will unveil the latest ecosystem of Galaxy devices during the virtual event.

Samsung usually holds its Galaxy Unpacked events in New York, but amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has decided to hold a virtual event where everyone can participate. Live streaming of the event will be available at Samsung Global Newsroom, Samsung.com, and YouTube at 10 AM ET on August 5. Samsung's first teaser video for the event shows an S Pen-shaped object in the Mystic Bronze color.

During its previous Unpacked 2020 event, the company had unveiled the Galaxy S20 trio and the Galaxy Z Flip. At its next Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event, the company is expected to take the wraps off the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. The Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Tab S7+, Galaxy Buds Live, and the Galaxy Watch 3 could also be showcased during the virtual event.

While the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and the Galaxy Watch 3 have been leaked extensively, the company has managed to keep the Galaxy Z Fold 2 a secret. The successor to the Galaxy Fold is expected to feature larger screens on the outside and the inside, and it is rumored to come equipped with Super AMOLED Infinity-O displays that have a 120Hz refresh rate.
