Here’s another look at the LG G7 ThinQ with a side-mounted power button

Earlier this month, LG announced that it would be unveiling the LG G7 ThinQ in New York City on May 2. While a press render of the upcoming smartphone had already leaked, a new image today proves that LG is moving the power button to the right side of the handset.

Thanks to the well-known leaker Evan Blass, we now have a second official-looking render of the LG G7 ThinQ. As mentioned above, this appears to be a marketing/promotional shot (despite the "No SIM card" notification onscreen). As the image's background appears to be expanding off of the G7's wallpaper, I'm guessing this image will be used to market the device's display.

So what do we learn from this newly leaked image? Not much that we didn't already know. It's hard to see, but there's a definite notch at the top of the screen, minimal bezzles around the sides, and a decently sized chin at the bottom.

This leaked image does prove that LG is adding a side-mounted power button as first shown off in a render earlier this month. In the past, the South Korean manufacturer just doubled the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as the power button.

DJI showcased its new Mavic Air drone in New York. The third quadcopter in this series is of similar quality to its predecessors and can also fold its arms for better portability. For its size, no competitor offers so much in terms of photo quality. Release date and price The DJI Mavic Air can be ordered through the official DJI website  and is also available from other retailers. The drone is available in three colors: marengo grey, white and red. Samsung spent a lot of money to tell New York that the Galaxy S8 has arrived

It goes without saying that Samsung is going to spend a lot of money on marketing to get the word out that its new flagship smartphone is the one you should be buying this year. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ at an event in New York City today. Since it was an invite-only event, although it was streamed live online, Samsung decided to spend a lot of money to tell New Yorkers that the Galaxy S8 has arrived. Samsung illuminated the iconic Times Square in New York City with immersive displays reflective of the visual experience that the Galaxy S8′s Infinity Display promises. It basically bought out almost every available signage to announce the arrival of its newest flagship smartphone. As if that wasn’t enough, it even brought in a troupe of performers who danced “in celebration of the debut of the Galaxy S8.” Good stuff.
