New update to Verizon LG V30 makes it V30ThinQ, brings AI Cam

Verizon has started pushing out a new update to LG V30 units on its network. The update arrives as software version VS99620b, and brings along multiple changes, including ThinQ branding and AI cam.

To begin with, post update, the start screen of the device will show LG V30ThinQ (instead of LG V30). This has been done to reflect "the new artificial intelligence integration."

Another change comes in the form of AI Cam, which analyzes subjects in your frame and recommends one of 4 different filters. Recommendations are based on a total of 8 categories, including people, pets, food, flowers, city, landscape (sea/sky), sunset or sunrise.

And finally, the update also bumps the Android security patch level to the month of March.
